A driver who is suspected of DUI has was arrested February 23rd after crashing into a parked car in the area of North Park.

The incident occurred just before midnight Friday night in the 2600 block of University Avenue.

San Diego police on the scene say that the driver of the Ford Mustang ran right into the back of a parked SUV. The Mustang flipped onto its side from the force of the impact.

Good Samaritans that were on the scene helped pull the driver and the other passenger get out of the car.

Once police arrived on the scene, the driver of the vehicle was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
